Straight from the yahoo finance trivia quiz this morning. Thought this was interesting:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
According to Your Credit Card Companies, a credit card industry advocacy group, Americans 55 and older control 70% of the country's personal wealth.

Older Americans not only have done a good job at accumulating wealth, they have also done an excellent job of protecting their credit ratings. A recent study by the Federal Reserve reported that 80% of older Americans have credit scores of 701. The typical minimum score required to secure the best financing terms is 660.

The fact that older Americans control so much of the national wealth coupled with the fact that they also represent a fast growing segment of the internet population has made them a ripe target for identity thieves and other fraudsters. In 2004, reports to the Federal Trade Commission regarding fraud complaints made by seniors increased 80%.
