They're lining up in New York. Mexico $75; Italy $888. _________________ Today is the Tomorrow you worried about Yesterday! |

Close. But I think we're still gonna see the lines all over the news for the phone at the end of the month. And trading now part of the popular culture there'll be plenty of momentum scalpers coming out of the woodwork.
It might even be the event that sustains the market overall. There's alot of talk concerning touchscreens etc. across the industry. TRS are you out there??? _________________ Today is the Tomorrow you worried about Yesterday! |

Amen.
Checking out the Santa Monica online audiobook download section today and what-do-you-know, not compatible with Ipod, or Apple. And this in the very heart of the small small corpus of Apple computing--the supposed next leg up!
Non-swappable battery is a problem for the Ipod. |

If you're still long, sell. If you're still short, look to double down. If you were short and covered, look to get back in. _________________ I haven’t seen a beatin’ like that since somebody stuck a banana in my pants and turned a monkey loose. |

"Ripe for the Picking"
Barron's rates a buy on macintosh spillover:
"Mac Attack
Beyond the iPod
By MARK VEVERKA
JUDGING FROM ITS STOCK PRICE, you'd think Apple Computer only made iPods. The shares, which soared more than 10-fold in the three years through this January, largely on excitement about the portable music players, have since plunged by 40%, to about 51, mostly on fears that the iPod craze is losing steam.
The market is missing something. Hint: Look at that second word in the company's name. Despite the spectacular success of its iPods, Apple (ticker: AAPL) remains rooted in its Macintosh personal computers. And Macs, after a major overhaul, are now poised to grab some real market share.
The new models, featuring Intel chips for the first time, can run both Apple's operating system and Microsoft's Windows. The importance of that could well become evident in the coming back-to-school season, as students who've come to like Apple as a result of iPods consider switching from Windows-based machines like those of Dell (DELL) and Hewlett-Packard (HPQ). That is, Macs at last may enjoy a long-awaited "halo effect" from the success of the iPod......
What's more, Apple sports a pristine balance sheet, with $8.23 billion in cash, or more than $9 a share. Some investors are hoping a portion of that will find its way back to shareholders in the form of a dividend; Apple doesn't yet pay one....." |
