IBD A- Rating
Overall rank 90% - 10th of 95
Technical 97% - 3rd of 95
Fundamental Rank 58% - 40th of 95
Attractiveness 96%, 4th of 95
Nice find Henry - I bought a starter position, IBD recommends buying breakouts when they're no more than 5% from their pivot, I'll put a stop at about 7-8% below my buy point. |

| Very strong action today, came all the way back from a deep hole. Added an initial position at around 21. |

break out from a long multi-month base - amazing how the bullish "news" comes in so timely! |

Not sure how this would affect today's trading in ASPM, though. |

IBD ranks stocks by industry group, I did a "stock checkup" and just posted what came back - which, is all goodness, IMO. They have a very good ranking vs. the some 95 other companies in their category (which, to be honest, sometimes IBD's categories are a bit whacky, IMO)
FWIW, TASR has been on "the list" for quite sometime and yes, I tend to agree with you - once something hits "the list" usually, it's ripe for some serious correction. |

The IBD fundamental rating is low since the company isn't projected to make an annual profit until next year (although it did make a profit last quarter). I like what they do and the fact that Boston Scientific has also bought a bunch of shares says a lot about the company as well.
For me, it is psychologically difficult to buy a stock that is already on the IBD Top 100 list - especially since the list is so publicized so you're competiting with all these nimble traders for a profit. I like steady and slow better than wild swings. |
