Basics about buying and selling

Hi,

I am a newbie to the stock market and would request some help from the pros. My question is -

On a given day I buy a stock for $20 and hold it for 5 days and the stock goes up to $30. on the 6th day I see that the market is going down and my stock is falling, so I plan to sell it for say $28. Now the same day the market trend continues to go south and just before the close the stock price is $25. Can I buy the same stock again at $25 same day without getting into any TAX related issues? (Some what similar to the wash sale rule)

Please help. APPRECIATE everyones response.
