There are mutual fund chock full of Brazilian bonds--even PIMCO's got some. Watch out for the inflation cycle.

Brazil ,like several latin-american countries having endured decades of inflation, have been quick to tighten.

Hi Cindy,

One broker that I ususally recommmend for experienced and active traders is Interactive brokers, but even they don't provide access to Brazilian equities. My guess is that you'd need to find an institutional broker, such as Goldman or the brokerage arm of Citigroup (they just purchased a Brazilian brokerage house).

Other options, of course, include buying the Brazilian ETF, Brazilian ADRs, and Latin American mutual funds.

The BlackRock Latin American fund looks pretty good - the manager has significantly more Latin American investment management experience than all his peers. Moreover, the fund is more active than most and is now overweight Brazil:

Let us know what you find out!
