Different kind of salesman: buy or die. China life is a 20yearold against a 60yearold; "return on effort" a new metric. Note how Government so much a part of these stories. Note how capital so easily adapts to this "command system."

We've come along way since Clinton accused senior Bush of "coddling dictators."
