London would lose its clout as the world's financial center if this comes into fruition. Combined with a highly overvalued currency, and an economy that is highly leveraged to the financial and real estate sectors, this could not come at a worst time for the UK economy:

What's even worse is that, if the non-dom loophole gets closed, all of those Hollywood celebs living in the U.K. will have to move!
