Today is one of those days when many types of asset classes have a correlation close to one with each other.

Obviously, this did not happen:

Gold, gas, oil, copper, bonds all tanking today - along with - surprisingly - the Yen! This author is putting his words where his mouth is - just bought some June Yen contracts.

The rest, it now becomes clear, was aftershock:

That it would be the "failure" of a European Bank, Dexia, the bank without a country--or even a government. A muni lender and all-around good party apparchik. Everything the market said would be a catastrophe. --And the reaction was immediate. It was decisive. It was organized and planned. No sooner than we discover it and it's over. And it turned out to be as much about changing the labels as anything else. Folded into the (s)motherly arms of the Le Poste. Yeah, shareholders zero. But creditors, 100 Wink

That day foreshadowed many days to come--indeed a new era bianary trading. RIP Lowry's

Yeah, but one more o'those days and we got a whole new season. Weekly CRB turned on a 61.8. A half-decade of momentum won't make it easy but we've got some things....

Giant margin call (OSTK up!) just as the carry loosens up. Irony is one of the best indicators I know.

Chinese grand party conference says growth will be quality not quantity and wealth will be spread to the provinces. What?! Something must be lost in translation. Japanese policy in the open and being "fought" at the highest levels. The direction is clear the departure imminent. Question remains how fast. BooYa's tossing his supoena on live tv while the SEC stands firm.

Leveraged Money's gettin' tighter, while it's flowin' out the back end. Why not today!

stay tuned: TXN
