Lafarge gave an exit point for short-term traders on the 28th of Jan 2011 when it violated level 44.94 ~ 45 Euros. Notice something, Lafarge, is crawling under its long term trend line. If Lafarge was able to cross over that line then it would be a very positive sign. but till now short traders and intraday speculators are engaged.

As china produces half the cement in the world more or less on any given quarter they are the marginal exporter. See "Wonderful World of Cement" in MTC. Either this is a china not-so-fast story; or, because in '08 cement was totally exposed to crude, a nat-gas substitution story.  _________________ Today is the Tomorrow you worried about Yesterday! |
