Given the many efficiency gains that could potentially be "squeezed" out of Japanese corporations, would the next growth area be hedge funds that play more of an active role on corporate governance - similar to what many "activist hedge funds" are now doing both in the US and the UK? If so, then the EWJ could be a pretty good investment going forward (although like I said before, I just don't see a good entry point right now).
