I came across this on http://www.tradersnarrative.com/ in which the blogger talks about our subconscious biases, and the importance of examining why we hold the opinions we do, whether it's about the markets or life in general.

Perhaps it's a spoof and the ultimate joke is on the credulity of the viewer? Either way, I found it both fascinating and disturbing:

Darren Brown really woke me up to how the Madison Avenue boys work to sell the goods they want the sheeple to buy. Wonder if there are any good books out there that explains how this works and how to avoid being sucked into buying something not necessarily needed?
