Hi Henry
I think the only way they will get in is with a partnership with an already established company there.
News Corp was an early investor in NTES prior to their IPO, and NTES demographics is a perfect fit for My Space.
Ntes is the largest online game provider and caters to the 16 - 25 yr old population, the fastest growing population and they have the largest free email population in China also, called PoPo.
They really have no choice but to partner as the gov will not allow it to go alone. I'm don't know of any other company that would be as well suited for a partnership then Ntes. |
