For sometime now, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand really has no control of the exchange rate, so there's no point in telling the market that the exchange rate is excessively high:

No doubt. But they know that. Cap. Controls in Mortgage lending is coming despite PMs interview posted here. Fanning the flames...but they've now got mortgages into double digits. Think they're hoping for a new register.
