Paulson at G8 is pushing China to reveal strategic reserve stocks and co-ordinate on future energy use. Problem: that tank might be empty.

USD strengthening so far, surprisingly quickly .... holds promise

BTW NYMEX increased margin requirements as of 3rd July by app 5-10%, + for many other commodities

The fight for oil is out there in a full force, behind the curtains ...

I would not underestimate Paulson, you have to be very smart to be a Goldman CEO ...

Crush in Oil = stocks saved, or unfortunatelly vice versa ... time is running

I am almost sure that he wouldn do that if he did not knew already ... Smile, or even pre-discussed that already.

Tien amen was not about democracy fight, it was about poor Chinese protesting about rising prices, students joined later on ... Chinese leaders are aware that inflation can break their neck, cause severe unrests and will be willing to cooperate ...

Smile What a surprise ... Iran is going to easy the tension (I think they have discovered a new passion for the west or anything else?...)

Checked CNBC report on close: had three negative items to report and basically laughed in the face of them even as they were read.

Oil so far, so good ... I think he got a deal...

Breaking the 132 would mark the end of this stock market leg down for a significant time I suppose

Too bad we're not getting more out of it other than the airlines. 130 was the breaking point on the way up; we need to get into the 120s--which could be by today Idea

I like it--generate a sense of national cause. I'm ganna have to start working on a plan to free myself from Picken's if it works out.

Picken's is out to reinvent the golden age of Texas Oil. God help him. God help us.
