It's been like pulling teeth but he's finally come around to my way of thinking...hope that means I'm wrong:

He makes reference to living on a plane. Looks like china is not yet the center of the world, stephen.

Yeah...that really would be the end. Alas, Jimmy is too set in his ways--to old to give on this one. It's his swansong trade: "follow the money." And china's come too far to just fold. So..... things will string out and, ultimately, there'll be some outlier, (Korea?...health) that provides badly needed cover story.

But the story is old: expats always return....and so do prodigal sons.

You think Rogers will abandon the China story and move back to the US? Timeframe?

Roach vs. Krugman in the battle of the baseball bats. Is it any surprise that they are both now Party hacks?

The Train Bubble:

Infrastructure 95% of growth last three quarters. Bigger than any SWF investment, as predicted, china in investing in its future--real or imagined. The question now is timing. Olympics Idea

We'll know when he moves his office back to the "mainland."
