Texas Instruments is Stellar

The action in Texas Instruments has been impressive. TXN began the session with a huge gap higher open and, despite the nasty mid day down leg in the averages, has remained above its opening print. Volume has been running very heavy and is well above average. With just a few minutes left in the day TXN looks like it will close with a 1.25% gain, an healthy move considering the overall carnage. For a stock that began this week with a gap lower open that dropped shares to fresh 2011 lows, this is a very bullish way to end the week. TXN may have put in a significant spike low this week that includes an upside reversal on the weekly chart.
