I remember that bear cover well--woulda hated going contrary and buying that monday.

The Bull in Red Tape is about the capital market going elsewhere. But maybe subliminally about the current state--maybe a bear?

Good Time article on the psychology of risk in our modern world:

"We pride ourselves on being the only species that understands the concept of risk, yet we have a confounding habit of worrying about mere possibilities while ignoring probabilities, building barricades against perceived dangers while leaving ourselves exposed to real ones"

Gainers today were defensive, Pfizer, Health etc. Financials weak in the face of bigtime bond rally. P&G should be better with dollar. Housing strong on coming refi "boom." Microsoft, Amgen, SBUX weak. Market bouyed on oil. I can see the good news and can see how it goes bad.

Recession, take it or leave it, is now a STORY again. Watch out for Toyota and Honda shortfall in autosales.
