I've never understood exactly why so many people seem to pooh-pooh market timing. Who in the world wanted to see their invested money shrink by nearly 50%, not just once but twice, in the last nine year? I didn't, so I developed a program that will catch most of price up turns and avoid most of price down turns.

The timing mechanical system would still be in 25% SPY and 25% IEF, with 50% cash, as of today.
