Transports Are Getting No Support
By Helene Meisler
| Quote: | | You may have missed it since it was mentioned only in passing, but someone on television Tuesday actually noted he was concerned about the transports. I am paraphrasing, but he said the trannies had fallen below their 50-day moving average and it concerned him. Wow, I can't believe it has taken a 5% decline in this average before someone actually became concerned. Oh, in a normal market, this would not shock me at all. But in this current environment a 1% decline is pounced on so it amazes me that it has taken a 5% decline for me to hear just a little bit of concern. What should be really disconcerting is that this decline has occurred with oil falling $6. The other concern is that the trannies are getting mighty oversold and have not been able to bounce much at all; I think we should see... |
