For my "investing" bucket, it's not my style, but YMMV (your mileage may vary). I like solid industries, low multiple valuations, history of profits/ROE/ROA, good solvency metrics, and 5 or more years of financials to review. And that's before I download any SEC filings to do due diligence.
WPTE is too new for any of that to be applicable, so I would put it in my "speculation" bucket.
The poker thing hits me as a fad. Pet rocks, etc. Go to an antique store that sells kitsch and you'll see what I mean. But on the other hand, for every dollar lost on investments like the company that sold "Ghetto-opoly" I am certain it was a dollar made by someone else.
If you're so inclined, strike while the iron is hot! I'm not a big TA guy, so I can't help you with setting targets in or out, but do so to limit your (potential) losses. _________________ I haven’t seen a beatin’ like that since somebody stuck a banana in my pants and turned a monkey loose. |
